How do I know if you’re available for our wedding date? We still have availability for 2019 weddings! Email us for availability and details.
What do you charge? This depends a lot on you and what you’re planning. Do you want us there for one day or multiple? Is your wedding within a few hours of our home, or will we jump on a plane to join you? Do you want a film that is concise and snappy, or a little more fleshed-out (or both)? Get in touch with us through our contact form and share with us a bit about yourself and your wedding, and we’ll be happy to share our pricing with you.
Do you travel? Uh-huh. In the last few years, we have filmed in Costa Rica, New England, Turks & Caicos, Vancouver, Santa Barbara, pretty much every state in the Southeast, and of course in every corner of NC. In fact, we like to split our time between NC and New England. So if you’re in one of those places, be sure to reach out to us!
Can we meet you? We prefer it that way! If you’re not local, we’ll schedule a FaceTime chat before your wedding day! We pride ourselves in creating films that are unique to your story and your personalities so getting to know you is important and frankly, quite fun!
OK, we really want to book you. Now what? Once you’ve determined we’re a good fit, we’ll create and email a Filming Agreement. It will outline all of the nitty gritty! You can return the signed Agreement along with your 50% deposit, which will reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Easy as pie!
Can we see an example of your longer films? So glad you asked! We’ve added one of our more recent feature films to our wedding portfolio page. Click on over there and watch Tyler & Noreen’s film. We’re really proud of our Wedding Features, but don’t post each online as we do with our highlights films. Just send us an email and we’re happy to send a few over to you with a password.
Can I have the raw footage to edit myself or watch later? All of our packages include a lightly edited (nearly uncut) film of the ceremony and toasts. However, we don’t provide the raw footage. It’s probably the one thing we are not really flexible on either. More work than you could imagine goes into creating these films, and we prefer you and your family enjoy the experience of watching a fully-realized Inkspot Crow film.
Will you tell us what to do, how to act, or direct us on our wedding day? In short, no! If you’re hiring Inkspot Crow Films, it’s because you appreciate the genuine emotion and documented moments in our films. We’ve found that there’s really no need for us to recreate scenes. There is more than enough raw beauty and emotion on your wedding day to create a cinematic film! That said, the quality of our films also depends on good light, so if you’re getting dressed in the dark, we may ask you to move to a lighter area of the room, open the blinds, etc.
When will I get my wedding film(s)? We’ll start editing your footage right away. We usually have your Highlights Film edited in about 8 weeks. We’ll deliver the USB + DVD with your Wedding Feature Film and any additional films in about 4 months. Not bad, huh?
