Jesse & Julie : Wedding Highlights : Durham, NC

You may remember Jesse & Julie from this documentary about love. There are a million reasons why their wedding could be classified as one of the most fun weddings ever: a flower-girl throwing candy and a musical parade to the reception venue come to mind. But what is truly memorable about their wedding is something every wedding cinematographer hopes to find: an authentic couple whose genuine love for each other and their community shines through in every detail and moment of the day. Thank you for being amazing friends and for allowing us to capture this day!

A big thanks to Brett Harris for giving us permission to use his song, “I Found Out” in this film. Brett and his band kept the wedding guests on the dance floor the entire night. Best wedding music ever!

Mark & Christina : A Celebration at Kilburnie : Lancaster, SC

Mark and Christina danced into their reception to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel”. Need we say more? From the moment the party started we knew it would be packed with funny moments, crazy dance moves and joyous celebration. And they did not disappoint! A giant thank you to Nashville’s David and Lynn Lavender of Yeah Yeah Creative for inviting us to film the day together.

Mark & Christina : The Ceremony at Kilburnie : Lancaster, SC

David Lavender of Yeah Yeah Creative (Philip’s cousin) called us to help him film this wedding. Mark and Christina Confroy were even more warm-hearted and fun than David had promised (not to mention possessing a fine taste in music!). They got married at historic Craig Farm near Charlotte, NC on the quintessential early fall day in South Carolina: bright sun and crisp air (read: no humidity!). The only element that trumped the atmosphere was the genuine sincerity and humility of the bride and groom; their personalities shined through in every detail. Thank you, Confroys, for allowing us to capture this day!

One more thing: every wedding cinematographer should be lucky enough to work with wedding photographer Jim Trice, who is as talented as he is courteous!

Music: Sigur Ros: “Hoppipolla”
