When Philip and I decided to start Inkspot Crow Films, we sat down to clarify some of our shared visions for our business. At the top of our list was the hope that we could work with organizations that shared our values and that our work would somehow contribute to making the world better. Enter Sarah Kate Fishback. SK, as we fondly call her, contacted us at the end of 2010 to talk about making a film for her employer, The Institute for Sustainable Development, who was hosting the 2011 Green Plus North American Sustainable Enterprise Awards at Research Triangle Park Headquarters in Durham. We saw this as an opportunity to connect with like-minded business leaders and use our craft to support a national organization with an excellent track record and a worthy mission.
